Mr. Dow's Classroom

It is our goal to foster independence and ownership for learning in a cooperative environment.  We continually help with organizational skills that facilitate success at school and in their daily lives:

• Use of Student Soft Skills will be taught, modelled, and expected to be used by students in all they do at CW Perry School.
• Daily use of an agenda, planner, or electronic calendar is strongly recommended
• Use of duo-tangs for each chapter or unit for Math and Science is recommended.
• Review and practice of key terms and concepts at home for 15 - 20 minutes per subject three to four times a week is recommended.
• Extra help or assistance will always be given both during and outside of class time, students need to ask for and organize this time:  Before school, after school, or at lunch time is fine but during class work-time is preferred.
