C.W. Parent Volunteers

A great deal of any school’s success can be attributed to its volunteers and we welcome you and your family to join in this rewarding experience.

To ensure the safety of all our students, the school requires a copy of each volunteer's Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check. This copy will be kept on file in a confidential binder held by School Admin. Please ensure the office has a current copy prior to volunteering at the school. Please refer to the RVS Board Policy on Volunteers. Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Checks can be obtained at the local RCMP detachment.

All volunteer criminal record checks/vulnerable sector checks are valid for 5 years and an annual declaration form must be signed yearly.

When you come into the school, we ask that you sign in at the office and wear a badge to identify yourself as a volunteer.

C.W. Perry Parent Council

All Parent Council members are parents of students attending C.W. Perry.  From the beginning, we would like staff and parents to work as partners to ensure that the home and the school work in close harmony.  While ultimately any final decision is the Principal's, the advice and views of parents will be listened to most carefully.  Parent Council provides an important forum to discuss, debate, and exchange views or issues associated with the school.

All parents of students attending C.W. Perry are encouraged to attend Parent Council meetings and get involved.

Friends of C.W. Perry Society

The Friends of C.W. Perry Society is a fundraising arm of the Parent Council.  Through funds raised, the goal is to assist the school in running various activities, constructing a new outdoor 'fun' area for students, and providing scholarship opportunities.
