Spartan Strong Scholarship

Spartan Strong Scholarship

April 20, 2023

Dear Parents and Grade 8 Students,

The Friends of C.W. Perry School Council is pleased to once again announce “The Spartan Strong Leadership Scholarship”.  This scholarship has evolved from the value the School Council sees in recognizing the contribution that students make to the overall climate of C.W. Perry School. It is a scholarship that recognizes what the individual student has offered and contributed to their individual growth as well as to the overall climate of our school.  Our students’ contributions at C.W. Perry School are a foreshadowing of what they will have to offer and contribute to their community in the future. The C.W. Perry School Council will award two Spartan Strong Leadership scholarships. A $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to the successful Grade 8 student graduating from C.W. Perry.  Additionally, a $500.00 scholarship will be presented as a runner-up award to a second student.  The money will remain in trust until the student’s graduation from Grade 12 and will be available for post-secondary education, upon obtaining proof of enrollment. This middle school completion scholarship will be awarded in June (ensuring we follow all social distancing protocols).
